It's interesting, really. I'm literally living in my head. I've played guitar in my dreams. I've flown, breathed underwater and visited my old home in Lantzville. Quite incredible.
Getting the hang of making the dreams last, however, is still a challenge. Usually I get too excited and fuck it all up and wake up. Lucidity is rare nonetheless, so when I do achieve it I try to enjoy it as much as possible.
Mike Froh's Dear Solace album is all about his lucid dreams, so I've found them to be inspirational. Quoting lyrics in my dreams can actually induce a lucid dream. I'm still not a master, however.
My counting fingers method is going okay, but I still want a digital watch soon so I can have more lucid dreams. But Jesus, are watches ever expensive >_<. I still don't have a job, so my budget is still very limited. But the worst thing is that I'm the head grip for the musical, which means that I have to show up for every rehearsal and dress-rehearsal. And not only that, but the actual nights that the show is playing. This means that I cannot sacrifice any of my time to get a job until after the 5th of December. I'm hoping to get a job right after that so I can finally buy presents for people. Anything to help my karma.
Well, that's it. No art, obviously. If I end up writing a poem in my dreams tonight, I'll submit it.
